‘I was gifted forty sheets of paper as means to support my creativity, at a time in my life where forty sheets of paper constituted a considerable gift. Despite this gesture, it served as an annoyance and source of frustration, highlighting my inability to translate my ideas onto a medium more “substantive” than this.
This would serve as a valuable lesson that the value of creativity is not limited by the mediums used but by the motivations behind that which we’re attempting to convey.
Starting with a simple collage, I completed in few months what I would consider to be my beginning.’
